The Department of Aerospace, Physics and Space Sciences at Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering with an expected start date of August 2019. Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field, and have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate engineering classes (e.g., fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials, structural design), direct aerospace teaching laboratory operations, assist with SACS and ABET accreditation, and provide other scholarly and professional services to the department.
