Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking an Instrumentation Technician III to join our team. The Instrumentation Technician III is responsible for maintaining functions for non-clinical and scientific instrumentation, and to the users of this instrumentation. Under moderate supervision, the technician assists with the installing, maintaining and repair of all types of patient related equipment, including beds and wheelchairs.
High school level of educational development and two years of previous experience.
Maryland Class C Driver’s License
Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.
Ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information
Occasionally requires contact with patients and/or visitors, which involves courtesy.
Lifting and/or carrying objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
