Covaxx, a subsidiary of the UBI Group, has joined the fight against COVID-19 and is rapidly developing precision antibody-based assays and vaccine candidates needed to successfully manage and slow the rate of the outbreak. As a result, Covaxx is quickly expanding to meet aggressive development and production goals, and is seeking to immediately hire a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to work within the QA department and with all other departments administering the implementation, performance and management of the Quality activities.
Interact with Production and QC departments for quality issues and discussion
Coordinate with relevant departments for OOS, Deviations, CAPA, and Change Control process
Design, implement and improve company quality standards
Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations
Implement and maintain procedures per SOPs to ensure compliance with regulations
Conduct internal audits of external operations by contract services.
SOP, Study Protocol, Bach Record Review and Approval
Conduct GMP training
Conduct Complaint handling
Conduct Supplier audit and self-inspection
May supervise QA Associates
Auditing or ASQ certification
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science Field
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to successfully manage workload to timelines
Familiarity with basic project management tools
Ability to negotiate a position after taking feedback from multiple sources
Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver timely, and high-quality results
Ability to operate in a matrixed or team environment
Ability to handle diverse relationships
Ability to lead and run cross-functional teams
Understanding of the applicable manufacturing/testing processes (i.e. API, Drug Substance, Drug Product, Packaging, Device manufacturing processes)
Effective written and oral communication skills.
