The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality auditors and tutors to perform all audit and training functions.
This position is in support of a contract on which we are bidding. All offers will be contingent upon contract award.
The Quality Manager shall be onsite at the requested office location as appropriate and be responsible for all Quality activities within task areas. The QM shall:
Ensure inspections are conducted continuously and ongoing to effectively monitor the performance of all aspects of the contract including all supporting and enabling functions that may not be explicitly sampled as part of statistical sampling processes.
Continuously and systematically ensure audits of files in all file areas supported by the contractor to ensure the accuracy of filing and the tracking of records.
Prepare a monthly report that includes a detailed list of the QC reviews conducted, results/findings, and measures taken to correct any defects discovered.
Maintain, retain, and organize on-site records of all contractor-conducted inspections and the corrective actions taken.
Delineate the organizational placement, duties, and responsibilities of the QC staff.
Ensure that when samples are used for quality verification; they are sufficient to produce a statistically valid result; yield an acceptable minimum confidence level and a maximum acceptable margin for all populations, unless waived in writing in advance by the COR.
Conduct employee orientation and training in what constitutes acceptable Quality performance of their duties in accordance with regulations and policies
The Quality Manager must possess:
Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations
Bachelor's Degree in program management, business or public administration, production/operations/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting
Six Sigma Black Belt as certified by the American Society for Quality, (ASQ)
Demonstrated experience in preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies, and coordinating operational and administrative actions
Obtain and maintain a DHS Secret Clearance
Experience in Government contracts environment will be considered a strength
