Process Engineer/Site Compliance Coordinator

The Process Engineer/Site Compliance Coordinator oversees the maintenance of facilities and designs new systems. Responsible for equipment, facilities, as well as all regulatory compliance for the site.

Responsibilities

• Handle equipment specification, purchasing, and installation
• Manage process improvement
• Oversee facilities as needed
• Manage Lab databases and quality and EH&S reporting system
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate lab equipment
• Handle all tasks related to safety and compliance
• Prepare reports with state and federal government, as well as compliance reports
• Prepare and execute safety plan, emergency action plan, Lab chemical hygiene plan, and training
• Develop and maintain chemical spill plans, emergency response plan, workplace hazard assessment, respiratory protection, and process safety management
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and make recommendations for changes to batch tickets
• Oversee annual Quality Audit
• Act as a backup in Laboratory as needed
• Act as backup for Production Supervisor when needed
