The ideal Senior CAD Designer is an industry professional with a passion for CAD production.  This individual has a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3-D, creating surfaces (modeling), alignments, corridors, assemblies, and pipe networks, etc.  The Senior CAD Designer will be a collaborative partner with project managers to figure bid quantities, delivering highly accurate detailed work, and committed to meeting project deadlines while working in a team setting.  This person will enjoy mentoring less experienced CAD technicians and reviewing work for completeness and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The Senior CAD Designer qualifications include proficiency in Civil Engineering/site development based on CAD drafting and the latest software including AutoCAD Civil 3-D, as well as, the following:

• Experience with design of civil/site and infrastructure projects.
• Two-year diploma in design/drafting with CAD training from a recognized institution with 5+ years proven CAD drafting/design experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to perform on multiple assignments concurrently.
• High level of accuracy/thoroughness, attention to detail and speed.
• Must have good communication skills and a commitment to meeting project deadlines and challenges while working in a team setting.
• Team-spirited, focused, able to make good independent decisions.
