Our firm services predominantly the East Coast, with its corporate office in Williamsburg, Virginia. We are licensed in 21 states in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, as well as the District of Columbia. The Structures Group, Inc. utilizes RISA, RAM Steel, and RAM Concept three dimensional modeling for it’s structural analysis and design, as well as AutoCAD and Revit, a form of Building... Information Modeling (BIM), for the development of construction documents. Our consulting engineering services have been provided for numerous types of structures, including bridges, churches, commercial buildings, educational facilities, historic properties, hotels, industrial facilities, waste and wastewater pump stations, institutional facilities, marine structures, museums, and parks, as well as single family residences in the eastern and southeastern United States. Further, due to our forensic analysis experience, we have been solicited to provide structural analysis and remedial repair design in various disaster and restoration projects such as the 1989 and 1994 California earthquakes, Hurricanes Andrew (1992), Floyd (1999), Isabel (2003), Katrina (2005), Irene (2011), Michael (2018), Laura (2020), and Ida (2021) as well as numerous mid-Atlantic tornadoes and Nor’easters.
