We are seeking candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experiences who are interested in serving a diverse and growing community.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is establishing an eligible list we will use to fill upcoming and future firefighter vacancies.

We anticipate having a Summer 2024 academy.

We understand for some candidates the cost of the CPAT can be a burden.  We partner with National Testing Network (NTN) to provide a fee waiver program for those who cannot afford the CPAT testing fee.  There are a limited number of waivers available for those who qualify.  The CPAT waiver request form with instructions is available here

See our Firefighter FAQ as a resource for answers to your questions regarding the FireTEAM test and passing scores.

Sign up to take the FireTEAM test at www.nationaltestingnetwork.com and select Firefighter Jobs. Then select Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and follow the instructions to schedule the test location, date, and time.
