Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc. has an opening for a Graduate Engineer II – Structures in Houston, Texas.
Job Duties: Assist with design drawings, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, reports and other project deliverables while working with the structures team; perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures; prepare technical studies and reports; assist in developing reports for new structures projects; coordinate effort with clients for new and existing projects; gather and record information to be used for writing specifications; and assist with Construction Administrative tasks. May be assigned to unanticipated worksite locations, reporting to U.S. headquarters in Houston, TX.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering or related field. Position requires education or experience in each of the following: 1) BIM (Building Information Modeling); 2) REVIT; 3) Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed Concrete and Wood Design; 4) Foundation Engineering; and 5) Engineering software such as SAP2000, ETABS.
License Required: Passed FE Exam.
