If so, we are seeking an Advisor, New Construction Accounts, who will engage with the new construction market and municipalities to understand future growth opportunities and to provide reliable and affordable energy solutions.

What You Will Do
- By engaging with developers, builders, and municipal planners, create long-term forecasts to support new development and growth throughout assigned areas in Ontario.
- Work collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders to ensure natural gas infrastructure is available for future developments.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with builders and developers to support and grow industry partnerships. The successful candidate will proactively engage with stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that drive mutual success and long-term collaboration.
- Provide support to builders and developers to troubleshoot challenges, develop solutions and find opportunities to service developments with natural gas.
- Coordinate large development projects and initiate pre-project launch meetings with the appropriate internal teams.
- Provide outreach, training and education to the new construction market on new systems, policies and procedures as they arise.
- Provide accurate and timely market outlooks, forecasts and recommendations to implement annual sales forecasts.
- Manage the relationships with the local Home Builder Associations including membership and annual sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships and support the regional teams by providing market intelligence, industry and customer trends, purchasing behaviors and other relevant information.
- Represent Enbridge at external events such as conferences, symposiums, and trade shows.
- Prepare presentations and serve as the presenter/speaker at key events upon request.
- Execute on DSM program sales delivery goals geared towards the residential new construction market.
Who You Are
You have the following education and skills:
- University degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Urban Planning or Engineering) and 4+ years of directly related experience in Sales, Customer Satisfaction/Care or Project Management.
- Strong understanding of new construction markets and municipal planning processes.
- Knowledge of energy transition and the impact on new construction.
- Customer satisfaction and result focused.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment that takes initiative and is proactive to independently drive results forward.
- Proven track record to identify opportunities, develop solutions, lead, initiate and manage change, while also being innovative, with the ability to solve problems and think strategically.
- Analytical skills with an ability to work under pressure, prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting target dates.
- Strong communication, and negotiation skills; experience in successful conflict resolution and leading multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. EXCEL, WORD, Access, PowerPoint,
- Comfortable with advocating for natural gas.
- Experienced public speaker and presenter.
- Natural gas connections/construction or operations experience is an asset.
Preferred
- Project management and/or urban planning background and experience.
- Familiarity with Ontario's new construction market and building codes.
- Experience working with municipal governments, developers, or in land development planning.
Working Conditions
- Regular visits to customer facilities, job sites and some overnight travel, mainly within Ontario, is required. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
- Evening and weekends as required for event participation.
