SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified AI/ML Data Architecture Software Engineer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a SoftwareEngineer with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance for work out of either Manassas,VA or Middletown, RI. This role will work within a multidisciplinary team ofSEACORP and government personnel to define, design, and integrate softwarecapabilities into complicated military systems.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, prototyping, development and testing of data warehouse technologies including development of new products and enhancements of existing applications and systems.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Participate in daily scrums, 2 week sprints, quarterly program increments, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies.
Work includes database, middleware, API, and prototype development.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or ComputerEngineering.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Required knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite,Git, and Linux. Preferred knowledge inC++, Java, Python, Linux.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Desired knowledge in the areas of Databases, SQL and No-SQL(Postgres, MongoDB), Apache Data Frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Iceberg,OpenMetadata, Ranger), Data Infrastructure (Ceph, S3, MinIO/Parquet, REST,Nessie, Druid), Data APIs (Trino, Metabase, MLLib, Superset).
- Desired knowledge in the areas of softwareprototyping, VS Code, Cursor IDE, and prompt engineering.
- Candidates possessing knowledge in these technologies will be considered exceptional candidates including Kubernetes, RKE2, containerization, Helm, AI/ML APIs, SparkML, AI/ML Integration (LLM Development Stack), DPCN training, PINN training, Vision-based World Model integration, software-based action model or agentic development integration.
- Candidate should have the ability to be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
