What We're Looking For
As a CNO Reverse Engineer Level 2 at CyberPoint, you will apply advanced reverse engineering expertise to analyze, dissect and understand complex software and hardware systems. You'll use your skills to uncover functionality, identify vulnerabilities and support mission-driven cyber operations. This role requires deep technical proficiency, hands-on development experience and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Do
- Perform reverse engineering of hardware components, software applications and operating systems to determine functionality, code structure and circuit design for use in the design and development of CNO tools and techniques.
- Program in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python to support reverse engineering tasks.
- Administer and utilize hardware and software reverse engineering tools.
- Apply CNO tools and techniques to analyze software systems.
- Use version control systems such as Subversion and CVS to manage code and artifacts.
- Perform computer forensics and in-depth kernel-level programming.
- Analyze binaries and system internals to identify vulnerabilities and assess system behavior.
- Provide written reports, proof-of-concept code, prototypes and hands-on demonstrations of reverse engineering results.
- Create, deliver and author technical presentations and documentation for both internal and customer audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide reverse engineering expertise in support of mission objectives.
Salary Range: $142,000 - $194,000
Qualifications
What You'll Need
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI + FSP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Network Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware or software reverse engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python.
- Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools (hardware and software).
- Knowledge and practical use of CNO tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with software version control tools (e.g., Subversion, CVS).
- Ability to produce and present technical documentation and briefings.
- Expertise in computer forensics and kernel-level programming.
- Advanced knowledge of low-level system internals and operating systems.
- Experience identifying vulnerabilities and developing proof-of-concept exploits.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical findings to diverse audiences.
- A track record of innovation in reverse engineering approaches and tool development.
