Position Description:
Position Overview:
The primary function of this role is to provide the greater Vermont area with an experienced Construction, Paving, and Surface Treatment Salesperson. This individual will be responsible for visiting customers to promote the sale and application of all materials and processes offered by our company.
The Salesperson will develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and support. This role offers significant growth potential for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting the sale of Paving, Surface Treatments, and other materials and products.
- Maintain professional, effective, and efficient communication with customers, engineers, contractors, and highway superintendents.
- Travel between locations, job sites, and customers.
- A valid driver license and clean driving record is required.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Construction, Paving, and Surface Treatments, with a proven background in sales.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Work Condition
Incumbent must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours standing, walking, and laboring outdoors in varying weather conditions frequently in extreme heat.
