Electrical Engineer, FT (Dededo, GU)
Develop and maintain electrical equipment maintenance checklists and procedures for plant electrical equipment. Plan, schedule, and perform routine and preventive maintenance on power plant electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Develop, test, and maintain electrical components of gas turbines, a steam turbine and other power generation equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in electrical equipment to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Conduct root cause analysis of electrical equipment failures and power plant electrical system disturbances to prevent recurrence. Analyze electrical system performance data to identify areas for modification and improvement. Implement modifications and improvements to power plant electrical equipment and systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety. Update and manage electrical drawings, documents, and records related to the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Prepare and submit site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates, and other monitoring reports as required. Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning. Monitor the commissioning and warranty period activities of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor after the Commercial Operation Date (COD). Monitor the safety of electrical personnel by ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, sanitary, and environmental standards related to electrical operations. Support electrical manager and other stakeholders in achieving goals and targets related to electrical systems at the power plant. Participate in regular meetings with off-takers, 3rd party engineers, consultants, and other relevant parties.
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
