Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Systems Engineer to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement Java-based applications to meet specific business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing applications to improve system efficiency.
• Work with VMS Security ID processes and ensure compliance with data governance.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
• Document application components, processes, and systems to ensure a clear understanding of the architecture.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and applications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose enhancements to existing systems.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience in Java EE environments.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and web services.

Desired Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related role.
• Previous experience in collaborating with teams across multiple locations.
• Experience in remote work, with knowledge of best practices in virtual collaboration.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in relevant projects.
