Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the research, design and development of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC and automation systems.

Responsibilities:

Design of efficient and sustainable HVAC and piping systems.
Design thermal integration of green energy combined heat and power plants including fuel cells
Design of automation systems including P&IDs and sequences of operations
Develop detailed construction drawings for contractor installation
Develop building cooling/heating load and 8760 energy models
Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule
On-site review of existing and new systems
Client Interface

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
3+ years of experience in HVAC systems design
Strong knowledge of CAD and drawing development
AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience with 8760 building energy modeling software a plus
Experience with building and industrial automation design a plus
