Mechanical Engineer, FT (Dededo, GU)
Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), pumps, compressors, valves, piping systems, and other rotating and static equipment. Provide technical support to the operations team for troubleshooting mechanical equipment malfunctions and operational issues. Prepare Mechanical Department’s daily maintenance activities reports and consolidate Maintenance Group’s daily maintenance activities reports. Develop and review operating procedures and work instructions related to mechanical systems. Inspect, monitor, test, and commission witness of all mechanical department’s equipment to ensure cost/budget, quality, and schedule of the maintenance works have been met. Monitor a gas turbin’s Equivalent Operating Hours (EOH) for outage scheduling and maintain an outage work plan which includes monitoring and procurement of spare parts, consumable materials, and 3rd party manpower allocation. Report a consumed EOH to Finance Department for proper depreciation of gas turbine’s parts i.e., HGPP (Hot Gas Path Parts: Turbine blades & vanes, combustion liners, main & pilot nozzles, combustor swirlers, and ring segments, etc.). Inter-departmental coordination for budget preparation, request, allocation, and execution of the mechanical department’s maintenance activities such as third-party manpower and spare parts procurement. Prepare and attend coordination meetings for the planned maintenance overhaul activities and material delivery updates. Custodian of equipment manuals and other technical documents for the mechanical or gas turbine department.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
