Position Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will demonstrate leadership, communicate business goals, and provide support in team management and coordination for engineered solutions. You will drive the performance and quality of an engineering team to ensure that all executed activities meet required short-term and long-term business goals. This role can be performed remotely or based out of Houston, TX, or Lake Mary, FL.

 
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and talent retention goals.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including cross-cultural and diverse teams, to ensure successful planning and execution of multi-discipline control systems.
Expand the team’s technical skillset portfolio to support business growth.
Travel domestically to customer sites up to 25% or as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in SCADA system design, integration, or industrial automation.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Emerson, etc.) and HMI development, alarming, trending, and control logic.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts within industrial control systems.
Hands-on experience with control system architecture, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems.
