Project Engineer
Job Summary:
Manage engineering projects and staff while performing technical analyses, coordinating tasks, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform or guide technical analysis for assigned projects, making sound decisions based on established engineering principles and supervisory guidance.
Assess project requirements, define objectives and constraints, develop budgets, conduct feasibility studies, manage staff, and provide training and presentations as needed.
Develop project schedules, set milestones, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with approved scope, and serve as the primary point of contact for project inquiries.
Review proposed changes for impact on project design, budget, or schedule.
Prepare reports and presentations that translate technical data into clear and concise formats.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
Ability to gather, organize, and analyze engineering data and produce comprehensive reports.
Proven capability to manage multiple engineering functions efficiently, work effectively in a team, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
