Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., is a growing, multi-disciplined consulting firm of professional engineers, environmental professionals, and planners with a talent pool of more than 400 employees that have been meeting the needs of municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast and mid-Atlantic states for more than 60 years. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated candidate to help support our design team and growth in Maryland. This is a full-time position that is aligned with our Baltimore (Owings Mills) office, but consideration could be made to work from our Annapolis office as well.
Responsibilities:
Duties primarily include engineering related to civil/site design with a preferred emphasis on bridge/culvert and highway systems. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Design support and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below:
- Providing conceptual input on the development of bridge/culvert systems.
- Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
- Providing quality control reviews of design.
- Proficient in technical writing.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 2-8 years consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience delivering civil/site design (on bridge/culvert related projects preferred) with county and state government agencies in Maryland.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Maryland a plus.
Estimated Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000/year.
Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
