Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud and DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS, Azure, and a mandatory hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, including managing and performing Kubernetes upgrades.

The ideal candidate will also be proficient in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch, and have working knowledge of ITIL processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Deploy, manage and perform version upgrades of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and service mesh tools like Istio, Kong, and ArgoCD.
• Configure and maintain Elasticsearch clusters and integrate with monitoring tools for centralized logging and search.
• Set up and maintain Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure and application monitoring, including alerting and dashboard creation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Apply ITIL processes for efficient incident, change, and problem management.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in cloud environments.
• Provide expert-level support and guidance on cloud, DevOps, and Kubernetes-related topics.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in cloud operations with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Mandatory experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including performing cluster upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and application/code quality tools like SonarQube, Nexus-IQ, FoD.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and compliance.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) are a plus.
