Job Responsibilities:
Design and Build: Architect and implement ElasticSearch solutions, ensuring optimal configuration of indices, data streams, and templates to meet project requirements.
Cluster Management: Oversee the operational health of ElasticSearch clusters, addressing shard issues, managing snapshotting and data restoration, and implementing cross-cluster replication as needed.
Data Management: Develop and maintain data lifecycle and backup policies, ensuring efficient data retention and compliance with organizational standards.
Data Processing: Execute field mapping, document indexing, and create ingest pipelines to facilitate seamless data ingestion and processing within ElasticSearch.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex cluster issues, leveraging deep knowledge of ElasticSearch to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams to support data initiatives, utilizing scripting skills in Bash and/or Python, and manage on-call responsibilities for both low and high-side environments.
Salary - 155,000-175,000 DOE
Responsibilities
- 3+ years of experience with ElasticSearch
- Managing data working with indices, templates, data streams, data lifecycle/backup policies
- Cluster management shard issues, snapshotting/restoring data, cross-cluster replication, scaling clusters
- Data processing field mapping, document indexing, ingest pipelines
- Troubleshoot cluster issues
- Additional experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python
- Additional requirements
- Cleared US Secret or TS/SCI
- Ability to work on-site in WM to be able to access high-side environments
- Ability to be on-call 24x7 for both low and high side environments
