This is not a job posting for everyone! It's not a typical or comfy 9–5, coast through the day, and collect a paycheque type of role.
Before You Fall in Love, Let Me Be Honest
Hi. I’m the founder. I’m the kind of entrepreneur who will pour a level 12 effort into my people. I’ll believe in you before you believe in yourself. I’ll challenge you to grow, build, lead, create, and push limits.
But here’s the truth:
I’ve built this business with love, grit, pain, long nights, and a hell of a lot of risk. It breaks my heart when someone joins us because it “sounded like a cool opportunity". We're looking for someone who is willing to match the weight of what we carry here.
If that doesn't resonate with you, please don’t apply.
But if it does? If that fires something up inside you? Then keep reading!
_____________
The Mission
We are rebuilding what helical pile design can be. We're not just selling engineering - we’re building tools, automations, content, and systems that empower contractors and manufacturers. We’re taking a slow, manual, error-prone process, and turning it into a technical masterpiece.
We’ve already built in-house proprietary automations. We’ve got a system running.
Now we need you!
_____________
Who You Are
- You’re a rockstar in helical pile design. You’ve got 5+ years, and it shows.
- You’re not afraid of complexity. Bring on the weird, the broken, the “unsolvable.”
- You’re tech-obsessed. Not just AutoCAD. We mean Python, AI tools, data flow, system thinking.
- You work fast. People say, “I can’t believe you finished that already.”
- You’ve been called “the best engineer we’ve ever had.” Multiple times.
- You get mad when there’s friction in a workflow - and you fix it.
- You can write proposals, talk to contractors, meet with manufacturers, AND design piles.
- You don’t just meet targets. You blow them up, and then automate the rubble.
_____________
Who You Are Not
- Someone who clocks out mentally at 5pm or when the boss isn't around.
- Someone who settles for “good enough” instead of striving for excellence.
- Someone who would require continuous handholding to get the job done.
- Someone who equates experience with entitlement rather than responsibility.
- Someone who simply wants a job instead of a mission.
_____________
What Drives You
- You’re so hungry it’s kind of scary.
- You’re obsessed with becoming the best - whether that’s design speed, innovation, leadership, or all three.
- You care deeply about kindness, empathy, and emotional professionalism.
- You thrive in chaos. You make sense out of it.
- You can work alone, fully self-managed, and still outperform teams.
- You’ve worked late just because you were in flow - and it felt amazing.
- You’re excited to build the plane while flying it, and you bring your own duct tape.
_____________
Technical Requirements
- Licensed P.Eng. (Canada) or PE (USA)
- Eligible for stamp approval in multiple provinces or states
- 5+ years experience with helical pile design
- Strong familiarity with CSA and ASTM standards
- Must be able to perform and check detailed design work independently
Bonus if you’ve:
- Developed internal design tools or automation
- Worked with manufacturing or installation teams
- Built or scaled internal systems in a growing firm
- Have Python, JavaScript, or AI/workflow automation experience
_____________
This Role Involves
- Performing helical pile design on tight timelines and complex sites
- Contributing to automation software development and design logic
- Meeting with contractors, listening deeply, and solving real problems
- Creating technical content, training modules, and internal tools
- Helping to scale this company into a category dominator
- Thriving in a high-trust, high-accountability, no-BS team
_____________
What You’ll Get
- A real seat at the table: your voice will shape the company
- Unfiltered, heartfelt leadership that believes in people
- Full permission to build things that matter
- A chance to work with a small team of absolute monsters in the best way
- Strong salary, flexible work structure, and high growth potential
- A meaningful role in something that’s going to redefine this market

You might be asking, "This Job Posting is for Unicorns?”
Yep. You’re right. And the truth is, this posting doesn’t capture the depth, talent, and creative firepower we already have in-house. So no - we’re not dreaming. They exist. They work here.
And to be frank, we’re self-aware enough to admit:
We love working with unicorns. We design for them. We build for them. We protect the standard they represent.
So if this posting makes you nervous, or defensive, or annoyed - it’s probably not for you.
But if you’re reading, if your heart is pounding and you're thinking:
“YES. These are my people. This is how I think, and the level I want to be at. This is what I’ve been waiting for” - then apply! We’ve been waiting for you, too.
