Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineer at FSB is a senior-level technical and leadership role responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of complex mechanical systems for a wide range of projects. This position oversees mechanical design from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. The Senior Mechanical Engineer works closely with architects, engineers from other disciplines, consultants, and clients to develop innovative, efficient, and sustainable mechanical solutions. In addition to leading technical work, this role mentors junior engineers, reviews design documents for quality, and advances best practices and standards across the mechanical engineering discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in building systems design.
• Demonstrated success leading mechanical design on large-scale or complex projects.
• Experience in all phases of design and construction, from schematic design through project closeout.
