- Senior Systems Engineer
Description
Under broad guidance, the Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and server infrastructure. This role serves as the subject matter expert in researching, identifying, implementing, and supporting IT-based solutions that align with business needs and objectives. The position also provides long-term vision, strategic planning, and implementation of innovative programs to improve overall performance.
Requirements
Education (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, OR
Education equivalency: two years of directly related professional experience for every year of education not completed (in addition to any other required experience).
Experience
Required:
Minimum of 5 years as a network engineer designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting network hardware/software within a multi-protocol, client/server, mid-tier, WAN infrastructure.
Strong technical knowledge and organizational skills in researching, planning, and managing IT projects and initiatives.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desired:
Microsoft 365 administration.
Licenses and Certifications
Required: One or more of the following certifications (to be obtained within the first 6 months of employment):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architecture Expert
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Required: Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
