Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer specializing in network systems to support mission-critical projects in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, and must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize secure network architectures for enterprise and classified environments.
- Lead system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols (DISA STIGs, RMF).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability solutions.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Manage Active Directory, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network monitoring tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience or specialist certifications considered in lieu of degree.
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on network systems.
- Expertise in Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, and network security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, VMware, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
- Strong background in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
