Position Summary
TPA & Payer Solutions is seeking an experienced Sr Data Engineer to oversee critical business functions across multiple lines of business. The ideal candidate will enhance operational efficiency, ensure effective incident resolution, and implement strategies to support the growth and stability of TPA & Payer Solutions applications. Designs, builds, and maintains large-scale data infrastructure and data processing systems within a Windows operating environment. Implements robust and scalable solutions utilizing Windows-based technologies to support data-driven applications, analytics, and business intelligence. Ensures optimal performance and security of databases and data systems, leveraging tools such as SQL Server, PowerShell, and Windows Server to facilitate efficient data management and processing.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years' work experience providing level 2 or 3 technical support
• Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork within technology and with business partners
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
• Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
• Adept at business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience in database administration and data infrastructure management, preferably in a Windows environment.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and communication across departments.
• Growth Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a focus on agility and mentoring others.
• Execution and Delivery: Proficient in planning, executing, and supporting data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Business Intelligence: Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools, with experience in implementing data-driven solutions.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, and server certifications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data security and infrastructure.
• PowerShell Proficiency: Strong skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Windows-based systems.
• AI Tools Experience: Some experience with AI tools and technologies, with an interest in leveraging AI for data analysis and optimization.
• Cloud Migration: Experience with cloud migration projects, including planning and executing transitions to cloud-based data solutions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Computer Science or Equivalent Years of Relevant Experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
