Overview
What We're Looking For
As a Test Engineer Level 2 at Cyber Point, you will support test and evaluation activities across the full system lifecycle. You will assist in designing, planning, executing and reporting on test events that ensure mission-critical technologies perform as intended. You'll work directly with government sponsors and test organizations to integrate, validate and refine systems while providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

What You'll Do
- Analyze system requirements, acquisition plans and system descriptions to develop test and evaluation (T&E) strategies, plans and procedures.
- Prepare for and conduct data collection and performance analysis and report status/results.
- Support development of government T&E documentation (e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Master Plans, Test Readiness Assessments and T&E Reports.)
- Collaborate with test organizations to support T&E program integration.
- Plan and execute performance testing, including data collection, statistical analysis and modeling/simulation validation.
- Conduct risk assessments to prioritize T&E objectives and align with acquisition schedules.
- Coordinate with Systems Engineering teams to integrate functional analysis, risk assessments and evaluation planning.
- Ensure test readiness including participant training, equipment validation and compliance with security, legal and privacy requirements.
- Produce evaluation and analysis plans, risk assessments, data management plans and T&E reports.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for junior engineers on Level 0 and Level 1 tasks.
- Work directly with government sponsors to coordinate test activities and deliverables.
Salary Range: $101,000 - $138,000
Qualifications
What You'll Need
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI + FSP
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in test and evaluation concepts, performance analysis and systems engineering support.
- Strong skills in data analysis, modeling and simulation and performance risk assessment.
- Ability to design test plans, data sampling schemes and analysis frameworks.
- Knowledge of configuration and data management practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work across integrated test teams.
- Advanced knowledge of government T&E processes, policies and documentation requirements.
- Experience leading test events and training participants.
- Familiarity with national and international system development standards.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, collection and calibration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design surveys and conduct SME/user assessments.
