Description
Responsibilities and Duties- Own critical incidents by identifying root causes, mitigating impact, and leading post-mortem reviews to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the seamless operation of distributed, multi-server trading systems.
- Be the go-to expert for traders by providing hands-on trade floor support and direct application assistance.
- Oversee UAT coordination and production software releases to maintain stability and performance.
- Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Design and implement robust monitoring and logging solutions, enhancing system reliability and visibility.
- Automate and optimize workflows, developing scripts and tools to drive operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying gaps and suggesting better processes or tools.
- Engage in occasional after-hours support and testing as required to ensure smooth operations.
What you offer
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a trading support or similar technical role.
- Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or PHP).
- A proven track record of driving change and delivering results in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A passion for automation and building scalable, standards-based solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment
