This Opportunity:
- Join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
- Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
- Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
- Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passed FE/EIT exam
- Residence in Des Moines, IA metro area
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Zero (0) to Four (4) years of previous experience
- Previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects
- Previous experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents
- Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management
- Proficiency with design applications including: AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Revit
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including: XPSWMM, Infoswmm, Bentley WaterGEMS, and Innovyze InfoWater
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $70,000 and $80,000 per year based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
