About the Position
C2AE is currently seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer in one of our Michigan offices. This is a full-time opportunity for career advancement in the architecture and engineering field. In this role, you will collaborate with other engineers on all phases of project delivery, serving primarily municipal government clients, as well as using engineering software for designing projects and plans. Always a part of the larger and collaborative team, you will work to understand the project needs and work independently on site with both clients and the construction firms. You will have a ground floor view of the projects that we are working on to benefit the communities we live in. The positions also provide learning and development opportunities on a wide variety of projects.
Qualified candidates will possess the following attributes:
- Use engineering software to draft, design, detail, and modify engineering project designs/plans utilizing firm specifications.
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Review designs for compliance with regulations, design standards, codes, and specifications.
- Clarify and resolve technical issues.
- May provide technical assistance with proposals and presentations.
- Write reports and memorandums and assist with project presentations to clients.
- Assist the PM in the preparation of cost information.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited university, required.
- Professional Engineer License required.
- 1+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering design preferred.
