Your New Role

As a Web Application Development/DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Develop and maintain web-based applications for financial services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements.
- Design and develop system architecture as part of an Agile development team.
- Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Plan and manage testing phases including SIT, E2E, and UAT. Communicate closely with various business and IT departments.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Mandatory: Fluent English, Business Japanese
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general
- Programming languages in (Unix/Linux/MS), preferably in front-end development with Java and Python
- Solid experience and understanding of DevOps and Agile development methodologies, with established expertise across a range of core tools like GIT, Jenkins,
- Strong understanding of Java Open Source Application Frameworks, such as the Spring framework

Preferred
- Experience of leading mid-size teams (5 to 15).
- More than 3 years of industry experience in hands-on development within the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle for products such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Understanding or experience of web technologies such as Angular, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
