LA New Product Development Team LLC (LA NPDT) was founded in Ruston, Louisiana, by Konstantin Dolgan, PhD, and Onega Ulanova, MBA, as a small group of innovators passionate about bridging the gap between ideas and real-world products. What began as a student-led initiative at Louisiana Tech University quickly evolved into a full-fledged product development company.
In the early years, the team specialized in helping inventors and entrepreneurs transform raw ideas into prototypes. With strong engineering, design, and manufacturing expertise, the company steadily grew its portfolio, guiding dozens of products from concept through market launch.
As client demand expanded, LA NPDT broadened its capabilities—adding in-house mechanical design, electronics development, rapid prototyping, and quality management expertise. The company became known for its ability to deliver practical, manufacturable solutions across diverse industries, from consumer products to industrial equipment.
