Reliability Engineer
Salary Range: $87,800 - $116,300
Arkema is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive equipment reliability, mechanical integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives at our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for improving asset performance, developing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, leading root cause failure analysis, and ensuring compliance with mechanical integrity standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the site's Mechanical Integrity Program for pressure vessels, piping, tanks, relief devices, and critical equipment.
Develop and implement reliability strategies, predictive maintenance programs, and asset improvement plans.
Conduct reliability studies, troubleshooting, and root cause failure analyses to improve plant performance.
Manage equipment records, spare parts strategies, and SAP Bill of Materials.
Support capital projects from early-stage evaluation through execution and budget management.
Serve as the site's Energy Champion, driving energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Participate in Management of Change (MOC) reviews and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance, reliability, or mechanical integrity experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance programs, reliability engineering principles, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with asset management, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and mechanical integrity programs for industrial equipment.
- Proven project management skills, including capital project execution, technical problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives.
- API Certification preferred.
